Title Of the research programme
“Studies on Rapeseed-french bean intercropping system as influenced by
irrigation regimes”
OBJECTIVES
To find out suitable/feasible inter-cropping system under availability of irrigation facilities.
To study the effect of irrigation regimes on the performance of inter-cropping system.
Treatments
A. Inter-cropping systems:
1. Sole crop French bean (S1).
2. Sole crop rapeseed (S2).
3. Rapeseed + French Bean in 4:1 ratio (S3).
4. French Bean + Rapeseed in 4 :1 ratio (S4).
Continue…
B. Irrigation regimes:1. Rainfed (I1).
2. Irrigation at flower initiation stage (I2).
3. Irrigation at pod formation stage (I3).
4. Irrigation at flower initiation, pod formation and pod development stages (I4).
