Accreditation of architec-tural programs takes place on a cycle that may range from every few years to as many as six years.

An architecture program seeking accreditation must go through a number of steps stipulated by NAAB. These steps involve a com-bination of several tasks:

Self-study: Programs pre-pare a written summary of performance based on the NAAB condition and proce-dures for accreditation.

For further information on the requirement for accredi-tation visit the NAAB web-site http://www.naab.org/
