Every year more and more artists move to the Isle of the Arts, continuing to make Gabriola Island as vibrant and creative as ever! From art for your wall to art for your hand, the Gabriola Studio Tour includes artists working in many media: ceramics, glass, photography, acrylics, watercolour, silversmithing, jewellery, illustration, basketry, leatherwork, sculpture, mixed media, textiles, wood and moretheres something for everyone! Youre bound to fall in love with a piece of art to take home.

Artists are the key to Gabriolas economic and social engine and the Gabriola Arts Council is committed to creating opportunities for people of all ages and interests to engage with local art and artists. Heller Healing Power of Art ProgramThis innovative and inspired program engages professional art and drama therapists working directly with community social service organizations, medical practitioners and individuals to address a variety of health-related issues and concerns. This initiative is not about creating artists, but rather its goal is to help people to understand and cope with physical or mental health concerns through the healing powers of artistic expression. Gabriola Island, where ART is the heART of the community!

5. Please complete an evaluation form (available in this brochure and at every Studio). We appreciate and pay attention to your feedback.
