• Why Study Abroad? Study Abroad

provides an opportunity to learn about

other countries and cultures, develop

international and cultural

competencies, and gain a competitive

advantage for employment.

• Studies from the University System of

Georgia and others show that students

who study abroad are motivated to

study hard, succeed in college, and get

jobs faster than those who don’t.
