What is the International Exchange Programme?

Loughborough University has a number of study exchange places with a selection of International institutions in Australia, Japan, Singapore and the USA. These places are

available to all students irrespective of degree subject. Depending on your current degree programme, there is the option to study for a semester or a full academic year.

Our University-wide institutions places are open to all students irrespective of discipline.

School-only partnersSome Schools/Departments have additional study places with their own international exchange partners, for which the agreements are subject-specific rather than University-wide. Please contact your School/Departmental Exchange Co-ordinator for further information.

Is there financial support available? If you take part in an international exchange at one of the University-wide partner institutions, you might be eligible to apply for a Widening Participation Bursary, which acts as a financial contribution towards living costs abroad.
