Our history
The Institute has been organising Study Tour programs for over 15 years. Our clients include high schools groups, undergraduate academic and administrative personnel, government departments and private industry employees from many countries, including Canada, China, India, Indonesia, Korea, Japan, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, USA, Vietnam.

Our Program
Our team can customise exciting and flexible educational, tourism and cultural exchange programs to meet your needs. The programs may include:
• English language classes.
• College visits to observe and participate in classes, and meet with teachers.
• Visit to educational facilities and hands on experience with the latest technology.
• Excursions to historic and cultural sites such as the Blue Mountains, the Rocks, Hunter Valley.
Program Duration
Our Study Tours program can range from half a day to twelve weeks and is available any time of the year except the December Christmas period.
What we offer
We develop and coordinate a tailored Study Tour program to meet your needs. Study Tours at TAFE Western Sydney provide a unique experience of vocational education and training (VET). Through our strong partnerships with Industry experts we are able to provide a balanced approach to class learning and field experience.
Our programs are design for overseas students, adults and organisations wanting to enrich their academic skills and knowledge. We provide English language programs and professional development for teachers and workers. Programs may include visiting colleges and industry partners, participating in classes, interacting with local students and teachers and sightseeing.

• Assist in health care of animal;
• Rehabilitate native wildlife
• Work within an animal technology facility
Automotive, Supply Chain, Maritime & TransportSample Units:
• Communicate effectively in an automotive workplace
• Apply safe working practices in an automotive workplace
• Manage a supply chain
Building IndustrySample Units:
• Apply building codes and standards to the construction process for low rise building projects
• Manage occupational health and safety in the building and construction workplace
• Produce labour and material schedules for ordering
Business & Finance ServicesSample Units:
• Establish legal and risk management requirements of small business
• Process business tax requirements
• Establish networks
Community Services & HealthSample Units:
• Foster the holistic development and wellbeing of the child in early childhood
• Collect technical data to support client health care plan
• Facilitate support responsive to the specific nature of dementia
Creative IndustriesSample Units:
• Develop conference programs
• Manage on-site event operations
• Develop simple musical pieces using electronic media
Electrotechnology, Engineering & ManufacturingSample Units:
• Solve problems in stand-alone renewable energy systems
• Prepare and connect refrigerant tubing and fittings
