Students of all majors can deepen their understand-ing of musical language and performance through the music minor program. Music minors are asked to earn nine credits in the classroom and six through participation in instrumental and/or vocal lessons and ensembles. A minor in music is not required in order to participate in the music program.

VOCAL ENSEMBLESLe Moyne College Singers (1 credit)The Le Moyne College Singers specialize in musical theater repertoire. Past seasons have featured performances of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and Songs for a New World.
Le Moyne College Chamber Singers (1 credit)The Le Moyne College Chamber Singers specialize in classical repertoire. The Chamber Singers normally consist of no more than 15 voices and usually perform a cappella.
Vocal Jazz Ensemble – The Jazzuits (1 credit)The Jazzuits are very active with performances on the Le Moyne campus as well as at jazz festivals, workshops, college festivals and numerous community events.
INSTRUMENTAL ENSEMBLESLe Moyne College Chamber Orchestra (1 credit)The LCCO performs multiple concerts each academic year featuring music from all genres, including classical, film, pop and everything in between. The LCCO has collaborated regularly with well-known artists such as James Ehnes, Axel Strauss and Janet Brown.
Le Moyne College Jazz Ensemble (1 credit)Performing in various group and individual concerts on campus, this ensemble showcases a variety of music, including songs from the classic big band era to Latin calypso beats.
