Welcome to the Metropolitan SDA Church (Metro). Thank you for choosing to worship with us today as we partake in Communion and hear the message that the Lord has given to Pastor Bentley to share with us.

Metropolitan Church and MJA is a wonderful church and school family to belong too and I am so grateful for the kind words of encouragement, cards, phone calls, visits and being with my family when my mother passed away. Thank you for the beautiful arrangements that were sent for her funeral and those that attended. We serve a loving God who will call all of His children home with Him when He comes in the clouds. Metro Mid-Week, Wednesday, November 21: Because of the Thanksgiving holiday we will not have Metro Mid-Week this week but we will resume on the 28th.

Plan now to attend the Special Annual Christmas Pot-Luck after Church on Sabbath, December 8th. A good opportunity to share a meal with your church family and others you might like to invite for a vegetarian/vegan Christmas feast. Plan on including with your family favorite holiday entrees, salads and sides, a couple dozen favorite holiday type cookies. Containers will be available for everyone bringing cookies to take part in a cookie exchange, you will leave with cookies for your Christmas!

Metro Agapé Feast & Candle Light Communion: Our annual Agapé Feast & Candle Light Communion will be Saturday evening, December 8th at 6 p.m. We hope that you can come out to this special event. A sign-up sheet of items needed for the feast is located on the bulletin board across from the church office. Please take a moment to let us know what you will be bringing.

Christmas Reflections Vespers followed by Church Christmas Party Social Sabbath, December 15th at 4 p.m. You are all invited to come out to this very special Christmas program vespers presented by Tom Verhelle on the piano. Following vespers, our Metro Social Committee invite you to stay for a Christmas Party.

Bathroom Renovations are continuing around the church. The main men's room is under renovation and will be closed until completed. Men, we ask you to please use the baptismal changing bathrooms and the family restroom off the east side of the foyer. Thank you for being patient while we complete this process.
