How to...French Knots1Bring the thread to the surface

at the position for the knot. Wrap the thread around the needletip twice and take the needle backthrough the fabric where it came up.

2Ease the knot on to the surface ofthe fabric, holding it steady whilst

pulling the needle through to thewrong side. Stitch to secure or returnto the surface for next French knot.
