Vendor Guidelines — Physician Software Surescripts has three levels of certification associated with physician software vendors. These changes are designed for:

Affiliate CertificationRequirements for affiliates of prescriber vendors certified for one or more Surescripts message types/services

Vendorsthatlicensetheirapplicationstothirdpartycompanies(e.g.electronicmedicalrecord(EMR)vendors)areresponsibleforensuringthatthese‘affiliates’representyourcertificationstatusinthecorrect/appropriateway.

IfyouraffiliatewishestoallowusersofitsproducttoconnecttotheSurescriptsnetworkbyusingyourcertifiedsoftware,itmaydosoandpromotethisstatusonlyifauthorizedbySurescriptsandonlyifitmeetsthefollowingrequirements:

◼ Surescriptshasvalidatedthattheaffiliate’sendusersare usingyourcertifiedsoftwareasitwascertifiedbySurescripts.

◼ Youraffiliate’sendusersareregisteredinasub-accountwithin your primary account.
