Colour SchemeOn my front page, I want to use simple colours like this colour scheme. Since the majority of my readers are girls, I will use a red/pink colour to attract the female audience. This colour is also very popping, so it will stand out and catch the audience’s eye – therefore perfect to use on the cover page.

In my content pages and I will use this colour scheme as I find it very girly and calm. Pastel colours are elegant and I like that.

Fonts

This is my favourite font. It is really simple, and stylish. I will use as the title on my cover page.

I think I will use this font as a title for my interview as it is playful and fun, just like I want my interview to be.

This font is so girly and cute, so I think I will use it for my content page.

These fonts are very simple and modern, so I will use them for my cover lines and text.

For my cover photo I will use a medium close up or a medium shot of a boy. It will either be in black and white, or colours, but I will not use popping colours like yellow or strong red. The person on my cover photo will also hold a guitar and look quite serious, suggesting that he cares about his music and that my magazine is mature and interesting. The photo`s will not be shot in a studio, as I want the background to look urban. I will therefore use a lot of location shots. For example a graffiti wall in the background will reflect my magazine`s music style.

For my double page spread I really want to use photos of a concert, where the boy on the cover page is playing. The colours will be light blue or soft red/purple/pink, as that will appeal to the female audience. If not, I will use a landscape-framed photo from the same shoot as the cover page-photo. Not many of the boys in the photos are looking into the camera, suggesting that they are so obsessed with their music that they can`t think of anything else.

My content page will contain a lot of smaller photos, of the boy on the cover page and other artists that will feature in my magazine. They will be in black and white or in colours matching the colour scheme I will use: pastel or simple colours. I think there will be some photos of girls as well, as that will appeal to my female audience. There will also be three posters on the cover page, of artists (also known as my friends).
