NANO SHELF TESTING• Performed tests on nano shelves

to confirm they met SZE-1027, Bond Strength Specification – UV Cured Adhesive

• Collected, analyzed, and presented data to help determine if adhesive change was necessary

• Edited CAB procedures and updated fixtures

• Marked up drawing with adhesive change and sent to Alex G.

COST REDUCTION: ICE TESTING• Ran tests to determine if Smart water

valve could be replaced by 70cc valve • Performed tests on multiple refer and

freezer models with and without fill tube heaters

• Worked with Brent K. to develop a test method for fill tubes using air instead of water

• Conducted tests with Michelle looking for methods of insulating

the fill tube heaters 31083, BI-48SD: 70cc valve, NO fill tube heater, and original water line

30955, Test 5, Day 4

MULLION CHUTE TESTING• Dispensed ice – a lot of ice• Checked long term units daily

for ice build up in the freezer around the mullion chute

• Installed assemblies with new gaskets on long term units

• Ran mechanical test and inspected parts

PRO 36 AND 48 BUILD• Assembled pre-foam and post-

foam parts for Build 1• Peeled vinyl• Used a rivet gun and clincher• Worked with team from

Goodyear

Page 6: Sub Zero Co-op Presentation

AIR FLOW TESTING• Collected air flow data

using anemometers• Altered test parameters

to check airflow with different fan speeds, air flow directions, and fan positions

• Got USB hub working

Page 7: Sub Zero Co-op Presentation

CALORIMETER TESTING• Updated procedure and

worked with Roy S. to confirm accuracy

• Performed tests on evaporators and condensers

Page 8: Sub Zero Co-op Presentation

BI ENHANCEMENTS• Helped find best PVD and IML color match

and most appropriate luminance and luminous flux of the keypad and well lighting

• Attended field test inspections• Took the Farnsworth-Munsell 100 Hue Color

Test to confirm accurate color vision• Attended supplier visits to Serigraph and TG-

3• Wrote and edited SZCs and SZEs for the

parts • Performed Gage R&R with QA• Prepared master samples with QA according

to QSW-0159• Communicated with QA and both suppliers to

make sure the project continued to progress

Page 9: Sub Zero Co-op Presentation

DOCUMENTATION WORK• Found duplicates of procedures

and folders of procedures and worked on reducing

• CAB-1002, CAB-1003, CAB-1004, CAB-1025, CAB-1026, CAB-1027, DL-36, QSW-0159, SZC-TEMPLATE

Figure XX. (8) Water heater and chiller. If the water heater or chiller does not have sufficient

water, it will not run. Confirm water levels with the responsible lab technician.
