Clothing

In this sub culture the clothing of the people who have created this culture is very important to them in order to fit into this sub culture. The classic attire of this culture is track suits, hooddies, latest trainers. However, the clothing that they wear have to be a specific designer in order to claim the “ hood” or “gangsta” title. The main colour that is used to represent this colour is black or dark coloured clothing. The youth also usually wear hoodies and sunglasses. The hoodies allow the people of this sub culture not to be recognise easily. This is to allow them to remain anonymous, this is usually done so they cant e linked to crimes that they may have commited in the past or are going to commit in the future.

Spoken Language

The lingo that is usually used in this culture is broken English which is typically known as “ slang”. They usually use this language in order to differentiate themselves always from other sub cultures. Slang is also used to hide illegal activity from the police.
