Activity 1 Perform a simple experiment 1) Aim: To study germination of seeds and formation of sprouts. 2) Materials required: Dry seeds of whole moong or black gram, container, water, wet cloth. 3) Procedure: a) Take some dry seeds of whole moong or black gram (chana). b) Put small quantity of seeds in a container filled with water and leave this aside for a day. c) Next day, drain the water completely and leave the seeds in the container or vessel. d) Wrap the seeds with a piece of wet cloth for approximately 2-3 days. e) Observe your seeds after every 12 hours approximately and make sure that the cotton cloth is wet.
