Helen Keller

Helen Keller was born in Alabama on June 7th, 1880. She was a healthy child until

an illness and a severe fever left her both blind and deaf. Helen’s childhood was

turbulent, as she was quite intelligent but her disability made her unable to

When Helen was seven, her parents thought they should find a teacher for her.

Miss Sullivan, a young teacher agreed to help Helen to see the world. Miss

1. Common Nouns: The common nouns are the nouns that describe the

names of things in general. Some of the common nouns are cat, dog, road,

house, park, shirt, colours, tables, pen etc.

2. Proper Nouns: Proper nouns are the nouns that describe the name of

particular person, places or things. Some examples of the proper nouns are

Mahatma Gandhi, Golden Temple, Ganges, Himalayas etc.

3.Collective Nouns: The collective nouns are the nouns that describe the

names to a group of things. some of the collective nouns are ‘ a flock of birds’,

‘a herd of cows’, ‘an army of soldiers’, ‘a bouquet of flower’.

3. Abstract Nouns: The abstract nouns are the nouns which describe the

things that cannot be seen, heard, touched or tasted. These can be ideas,
