CONGRESSGain strategic and technical insights into heavy oil project developments, innovations and technologies through technical case study presentations, high level interactive business panel discussions and focused roundtable exchanges.

NETWORKINGReconnect with existing associates and meet new clients in an informal, yet business focused environment.

EXHIBITIONMeet over 100 international companies and explore new technologies, key products and services for the entire heavy oil value chain at the dedicated exhibition.

A DEDICATED PLATFORM FORTHE GLOBAL HEAVY OIL INDUSTRYHeavy and Extra-heavy oil resources have been estimated at 40% of the world's oil resources; of which about one-third are in the Middle East.

Often termed difficult to extract and upgrade, the bottom of the barrel fuel is increasingly becoming an important part of the future oil mix due to rapid innovation, technology advancements, and project developments.

Delivering a global platform for the entire heavy oil value chain to convene, connect, and engage in conversation, the World Heavy Oil Congress & Exhibition (WHOC) offers companies and heavy oil professionals exceptional opportunity to do business whilst showcasing the best in terms of business, strategy and technology through 3 days of unparalleled networking opportunities and knowledge exchange.

Taking place in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman from Monday 3 - Wednesday 5 September 2018, WHOC hosts an all-encompassing three-day technical conference featuring case studies and presentations; a two-day strategic conference featuring key insights from global business and thought leaders across the heavy oil value chain.

Supporting the Congress is a three-day international exhibition where NOCs, IOCs, EPCs, OEMs, service and technologycompanies will showcase their projects, products and services.

Join us in Oman for the largest congregation of heavy oil professionals globally and benefit from an array of potential business prospects and networking opportunities.
