Suburbs Tree Block Cluck Cluck Sew 7” x 9” Finished Block Material Requirements: • Green fabric - 7 ” x 8 ” strip or a large scrap to fit the template • Background fabric - a strip 4 ” x 18” or as large as the two background templates • Background fabric - 2 strips 2” x 3 ” • Brown fabric - 1 square 2” x 2” Block Assembly: 1. Cut the green triangle and background triangle pieces using the templates provided. 2. Layout the pieces as shown, and place the right background triangle on the green triangle, right sides together. Match the edges and corners, and sew from one end to the other using a ” seam allowance. (Note that the template tips in my photos are slightly different than the templates provided.) Press seam out. 3. Repeat with the left background triangle to sew the background triangle to the green triangle. Press out. The block should measure 7 ” x 8”, with ” of background fabric at the top point of the block. NOT FOR RESALE

BlockAssembly:

2.Layoutthepiecesasshown,andplacetherightbackgroundtriangleonthegreentriangle,rightsidestogether.Matchtheedgesandcorners,andsewfromoneendtotheotherusinga1/4”seamallowance. (Note that the template tips in my photos are slightly different than the templates provided.) Pressseamout.

3.Repeatwiththeleftbackgroundtriangletosewthebackgroundtriangletothegreentriangle.Pressout.Theblockshouldmeasure71/2”x8”,with1/4”ofbackgroundfabricatthetoppointoftheblock.
