Sugarloaf National Junior Honor Society students decided to make their charitable donation early this year. Instead of saving money for an end of year field trip, they gave $2,300 to the SOS Food Bank. According to NJHS president, 8th grader Abby Cowan, “During this time lots of families are going without jobs, unable to provide for their families, so we all felt and decided that it was most important to give our money to this organization, during a time like this. This tragic world-wide pandemic is affecting our community. We wanted to give back and help those in need as much as we could during this global crisis.”
