Dimensions of Quality in Higher Education

1- What according to you should be the basis of discussing quality in higher education product / software? Justify your decision with argument?

In my point of view, user satisfaction is the most important basis we should

consider and give it more interest to discuss quality in higher education. The

quality of product reflect the satisfaction of consumers, either consumers will feel

comfortable or not toward the product or service in higher education. If the

consumers' satisfaction is high, the product or service is in the right side of

designing and delivering to them, as a result the institution will achieve its goals

and policy.

2- Justify at least 5 important characteristics of quality in higher education

according to your view and explain why you consider these to be important?

Relibilty: -1

The meaning of reliability refers to the degree of the accuracy and correct. if the

products of learning is reliable any time for the students that mean they will get

the benefit of the products without any problems.

Serviceability: -2

Serviceability is the most important characteristic of quality in higher education

because if the consumers get great benefits from the product and if they are

satisfied, that mean the quality of service of that product is high. All in all, quality

of product depends on serviceability.

The features of products: -3

Each product or service has its own features, so the quality of product depend on

the type and quality of features which make consumer comfortable to use it and

make the product usable for users as they satisfied.

Perceived Quality: -4

If the consumer can perceive the quality of the software that mean that can get

confidence judge about the quality of this products or services.

Flexibility: -5

The quality of product or service depend on the flexibility characteristic, the more

flexible to use the software the more consumer is satisfied.

3- What aspects are important according to you for quality assessment in the 3 sub-systems of a higher education institution?

1-Technichal aspects. 2- Pedagogical aspects. 3-Significance of current reality.
