STUDY(1) Title: Implementation and evaluation of a student-centered learning unit: A case studyAuthor: Thomas Brush, John Saye
Purpose of this study:The purpose of this case study was to explore the issues involved in implementing a technology-enhanced student-centered unit in order to provide recommendations to improve and enhance these types of learning activities. Specifically, the study examined problems students encountered in completing the unit activities, problems the teacher encountered in facilitating the delivery of the unit to her students, and strategies to improve and enhance these types of learning activities.
STUDY(1) Instrument: A variety of data collection and analysis method was used in order to determine the effectiveness of the unit. The use of multiple methods, or methodological triangulation ,helped to increase the reliability and validity of the interpretation. These method included classroom observation, student interviews, teacher debriefing and teacher’s interviews. Student interview: Five students from the class were selected for interview. Student explored respondent’s perception of technology-supported unit and its effects on their learning

STUDY(2) Title:Evaluating Effectiveness of E-Blackboard System Using TAM Framework: A Structural Analysis Approach. Technology name:
E-Blackboard System

STUDY(2)
Features of technology: According to the result of this study E-Blackboard System has main features which are : Ease of use and Usefulness. The researcher find that the ease of use as well as the usefulness of technology positively influences student’s attitudes towards the system, which in turn determines technology’s effectiveness. The results obtained from this study would complement efforts and provide useful feedback in the process ofimplementation of e-Blackboard instructional technology and development of e-learning courses and curriculum in the UAE University.
