SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROGRAM California Resources Corporation (CRC) is looking for students pursuing a Bachelors or Master’s degree in Petroleum, Chemical, Mechanical, or any-related engineering field to participate in our 2018 Summer Internship Program. An internship at CRC will provide valuable experience in the petroleum and gas industry. As an intern, you’ll be paired with a manager and mentor, work on business- critical projects that matter, and have fun along the way. If you’d like to get a head start on your career, explore opportunities at our main locations - Bakersfield and Long Beach, California. EXPAND YOUR KNOWLEDGE WHO YOU ARE: Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Master’s degree in engineering; basic understanding of oil recovery; strong desire to learn and contribute. PROJECTS THAT MATTER: Interns get to work on projects that are tangible and valuable to CRC. These projects have the potential to get implemented along the way and employees want to hear about it! Interns will give a presentation and show the impact they made at the end of the summer internship. EXAMPLES OF PREVIOUS INTERN PROJECTS: Reservoir Engineering Intern: Waterflooding Tight Sands through Fractured Horizontal Wells Production Engineering Intern: Mount Poso Waterflood Surveillance and Optimization TIME & PAY Interns will participate in a 12-week paid-internship. The program will begin this summer and will run from May through August. Work schedules average 40 hours per week with every-other Friday off.
