All uniform orders will take place after your swim tryout, or later at home while completing your online registration. If you are unsure of your child’s size, all uniforms will be available at our tryout for uniform try-ons. Please have your child wear an undergarment for uniform try-on purposes.

Registration Fees do not include costs for items such as bathing suits, shorts, sweatshirts, backpacks, visors, hats, and rash guards. All additional purchases will be available through Original Waterman at discounted prices. If you are a returning Junior Lifeguard, you need only to purchase those items which you have outgrown, or are in need of a new pair. If this is your first summer in the program, you will be required to purchase official Junior Guard board shorts and a backpack. We also recommend the hat. Details on ordering additional items will be provided at tryouts. Also not included are running shoes, swim caps, swim goggles, or girls’ swimsuits. Girls’ swimsuits should be a sport-style navy blue one-piece or two-piece and will also be available for purchase this year through Original Watermen.

Lake Mission Viejo Junior Lifeguardsis Designed for Kids 8-16 Years of AgeLearn about water safety, basic lifeguarding skills, first aid skills, participate in physical fitness activities, and gain important water confidence. Junior Guards ages 11 and up are also trained in CPR and experience all that beautiful Lake Mission Viejo has to offer – kayaking, sailing, stand-up paddle boarding, snorkeling, swimming, party boat outings, and so much more! 2019 field trips for those ages 11 and up include excursions to the beach, Whale Watching, the Long Beach Aquarium, and a San Clemente Beach Field Trip. All excursions and activities for the 8-week session are included in the cost of the program!

CampCo at the Lake Summer Day Camps 2019

Full-Day Camp 5-12 yearsIt’s a summer of fun-fun-fun at Lake Mission Viejo! Campers will have an outrageous time participating in team-building activities, conducting weekly science experiments, going on scavenger hunts, connecting with nature, playing crazy games, making awesome crafts, and doing wild sports. Additional activities for ages 5-7 include cruising on party boats, going on nature hikes, and playing large-group games. Campers ages 8-12 will also have opportunities for pedal boats, and campers 10-12 may do some kayaking each week. Daily themes provide fresh activities each day. Themed activities may include wild parachute games, CampCo Olympics, Prisoner Ball, Ultimate Giant Jenga, and more! North Beach Camp wouldn’t be complete without daily swimming – plus campers staying until 6:00 pm will have the opportunity to do some catch-and-release fishing on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Half-Day 5-12 yearsAfternoon Camp The perfect option for campers who want to keep the momentum going from their morning Lake Junior Lifeguard program or other specialty camps, or for campers who want a lazy morning at home and jam-packed afternoons of swimming, crafts, games, songs, sports, and more! Campers staying until 6:00 pm will have the opportunity to do some catch-and-release fishing on Tuesdays and Thursdays. If your child is interested in boating, please register for the Full-Day Camp. Check out our “Information Letter” at CampcoDayCamps.com for a general schedule of activity days and times. For children enrolled at Junior Lifeguards ending at 12:00 pm, campers can easily walk from the sand to our adjacent campsite for our 12:00-6:00 pm camp.

Parents of Junior Lifeguards are required to notify CampCo if their Junior Lifeguard child is on a field trip or at East Beach for the day, and parents must arrange with Junior Lifeguard staff to transport their child to CampCo on those days.

Classes are for members and guests of members only; guest fees are members’ fees plus 20%. Guest registration is limited to space available no earlier than 10 days prior to the class start date. All other standard guest policies apply. Pre-registration is required and recommended at least 10 days prior to start date. Classes are never pro-rated, and no credit is given for missed classes for any reason. All programs are subject to cancellation as well as location or schedule change without notice. If LMVA cancels a class, a full refund will be issued within 10 days. Participant cancellation or transfer of fees are governed by strictly-enforced policies.
