WEEK ONE 23 JULY - 27 JULYCAMP ADVENTURE (WEEK ONE)AWS & Camp Adventure from America will provide activities for children aged 5 to 10 years old in Sir John Mogg School, Detmold. The adventure begins when transport from Hameln, Sennelager and Paderborn each morning sets off to the camp base starting the days activities at 0915. Camp closes and the return journey starts at 1530. A weekly booking invites children to learn through play, sports, arts and crafts, music and more with each specially themed week including an end of week showcase of the childrenʼs outcomes. (parents invited to attend on Friday afternoon). €40 per week. Due to the nature of the Camp Adventure programme only weekly bookings can be taken. Participants require a packed lunch, snacks and drinks for the day. Please use the AWS booking form.

DETMOLD YOUTH ACTIVITY WEEK - PLACES TO GO & THINGS TO DOage 10+ young people from around the Garrison areas will arrive at Detmold Youth Centre to take part in fun social education through activities ranging from Detmold Detectives, visit to Vogelpark, H20 Swim Trip, A Big Ramble around Externsteine and A Big Arts Day. These activities can be booked individually, the maximum cost of the week is €40. Packed Lunch and spending money for snacks and drinks required each day. Please use the AWS booking form.

FACTS. RELATIONSHIPS AND SEX ASDAN ACCREDITED AWARD Running from Monday 23rd July to Wednesday 25th July, Young People age 13+ can learn and have fun in a safe way about the issues in adolescence regarding relationships and sex. Research and discussion around personal skills, increasing confidence, safety and self awareness. The course will work towards an ASDAN Short Course Award. The FACTS course costs €15. (including ASDAN Award Book.) Packed Lunch required each day. Transport provided from each Garrison area. Please Use the AWS Booking Form.

HEIDE PARK TRIPfor young people aged 13+. €20 discounted group price. Travelling from Garrison Areas to meet at Heide Park, young people will have opportunity to explore the park in small groups learning responsibility for self and others, taking advantage of facilities in the host community and developing communication and budgeting skills alongside having a great time on the attractions. Please use the AWS booking form.

GO FISH - FAITH BASED SUMMER CLUBbased at St. Peterʼs Church Barker Barracks the GO FISH team will offer a Christian Based Summer Club running from 0830-1300 each day. WEEK TWO 30 JULY - 3 AUGUSTCAMP ADVENTURE (WEEK TWO) See week one, Camp Adventure programme continues. Please use AWS Booking Form.

SENNELAGER YOUTH ACTIVITY WEEK - DANCE WORKSHOPS AND PERFORMANCE.Young People aged 10+ will arrive @ 1000hrs returning daily from 1600 and take part in Dance Workshops and activities throughout the week with a grand finale on Friday Afternoon. (Parents Welcome to attend the performance). Weekly booking only due to the nature of the developmental programme. €40 Euros. Please use the AWS Booking Form.

PADERBORN PIRATES RUGBY SKILLS WEEKOpen to children and young people age 8+ Paderborn Pirates & AWS will offer a week of rugby skill coaching from Barker Barracks Paderborn. Each day will begin at 1000 and finish at 1530. Weekly booking only. €40 for the week secures a place whilst spaces are available. Packed Lunch and drinks required. Please use the AWS Booking Form.

WEEK THREE 6 AUGUST - 10 AUGUSTCAMP ADVENTURE (WEEK THREE)See week one, Camp Adventure programme continues. Please use AWS booking form.

AWS & ROYAL BRITISH LEGION POPPY ADVENTURE BREAK - COMPETENT CREW SAILING EXPEDITION. Only 6 Places available to young people aged 16+. Sailing from Kiel to Denmark on a 56ft Yacht and attaining an offshore sailing qualification. Young people will learn to crew the ship under tuition from a qualified ATG(G) instructor and skipper. With the support of a youth worker young people will look at the world of work, budgeting, teamwork, independent living skills, working with others. Poppy Adventure Breaks are FREE with a non-refundable €50 deposit that will be returned to participants on the break as spending money. Sift for places will be based upon needs and RBL critieria and will be undertaken by AWS. All nominees will receive notification of the outcome of their nomination by post. Places are limited and nomination forms should be as detailed as possible. Participants must be competent swimmers. nominations can be completed by Teacher, Youth worker, UWO, health and social care professionals and parents. Staying overnight through the week, young people will learn to sail or windsurf under instruction of trained instructors. Youth work support will engage with an evening programme of fun activities. WEEK FIVE 20 AUGUST - 24 AUGUSTCAMP ADVENTURE (WEEK FIVE)See week one for detail. Camp Adventure Programme Ends this week. Please Use AWS Booking Form.

HAMELN YOUTH ACTIVITY CAMPING HOLIDAYYoung people aged 10+ will have fun and learn on this camping holiday whilst sharing 2/3 person tents. Participants require their own sleeping bag and roll mat. Full Kit list and detailed itinerary will follow upon booking. The fun doesnʼt end there; during the week young people can experience glass blowing (extra €10 in spending money), Visit to Bremen Interactive Science Centre, shopping and ice cream parlour trip into Hameln and take part in games and activities whilst on the camp site. Young People aged 14+ will be asked to take on wider responsibilities in camp. Cost for the week is €40 (excluding Glass Bauble Blowing during exhibition - please note on AWS Booking form if you wish to take part).

WEEK SIX 27 AUGUST - 31 AUGUSTAWS & ROYAL BRITISH LEGION POPPY ADVENTURE BREAK - AUSTRIA ADVENTUREplaces available for 20 young people in year 7 and above at time of application to take on the Austria Adventure which will include white water rafting, kayaking, high ropes course, mountain biking with an inclusive evening programme. Poppy Adventure Breaks are FREE with a non-refundable €50 deposit that will be returned to participants on the break as spending money. The sift for places will be based upon needs and RBL criteria. All nominees will receive notification of the outcome of their nomination by post. Places are limited and forms should be as detailed as possible. Participants must be competent swimmers. TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF BOOKINGS(PLEASE READ CAREFULLY)

AWS and Supporting Registered Groups reserve the right to cancel activities due to insufficient numbers, adverse weather conditions or issues outside of the control of the lead organisation and will inform parent/participants. Refunds will be given in this instance only.

Payment must accompany booking prior to activity to secure places. One application form per participant is required. Bookings can be taken at AWS Sennelager, AWS Hameln 0900 until 1200 and AWS Detmold during opening times. AWS and Supporting registered groups cannot take responsibility for illegible forms received and incorrect data, please take care to complete the forms.

Refunds cannot be given once an activity is booked due to the need to reserve costs for resources and payment to external service providers. Activities are booked in advance to secure low cost activities, once booked costings are based upon numbers forecasted, changes affect the overall cost to other participants and therefore refunds cannot be given.

Parents need to acknowledge the need for safe and responsible behaviour from children and young people on all activities. Poor behaviour may lead to exclusion from activities and will require parents to collect their children from the activity site in these instances.

Where transport is provided, parents should ensure that children & young people are on time and prepared for the journey. You will be contacted by email and post regarding your individual bookings and transport timings.

For On & Off Site trips and activities, parents should ensure that children & young people are clothed appropriately with weather conditions in mind. Sun Cream and hats should be worn in hot weather. Jacket and appropriate shoes for inclement weather. Parents should also provide enough spending money for drinks, snacks as appropriate per activity.

PLEASE NOTE STAFF ARE NOT PERMITTED TO ADMINISTER ANY MEDICINES BUT MAY ASSIST WITH FIRST AID AND SUPPORT OF MEDICAL NEEDS.
