    Dear Parents

    Greetings

    Its time to take a break from the hot weather. Yes, the time for the

    summer break has approached which is indeed a great refreshment and

    relaxation in itself. The schools summer holidays are scheduled from

    5th June 2016 to 10th July, 2016 and the school will re-open on 11th

    July, 2016.

    Keeping in mind that this recess turns out fruitful for the students. The school has designed comprehensive home assignments which would bridge the gap of responsibility and recreation. Perhaps its an opportunity for the students to practice and polish their skills. Kindly motivate and help your child to complete the homework and spend his vacation in a progressive way.

    Secret for being successful Respect time. Work hard and put in your best without caring about the result. Fix a clear and an objective goal. Always take initiative. Welcome opportunities and explore.

    Guidelines for Homework Completion: Enjoy doing homework, its not a burden. Homework should be neat and presentable. Be simple and avoid over decoration. Use separate notebooks for different subjects. Avoid cutting and overwriting. Compile and submit your homework in clear bags well labeled with your Name,

    Class and Roll No.

  • Schedule for submission of homework:

    English, Mathematics, Punjabi 11th July

    Hindi, Social Studies, Science 12th July.

    General Knowledge, Computer and Visual Art Holidays homework will be collected by the teachers in their respective classes.

    Late submission shall not be accepted.

    Creative work must be done beautifully. Best work will be announced and

    displayed.

    Population of Punjab according to 2011 data.

    Note-- Students will do their holidays homework on assignment sheets .

    Make a list of animals and classify them into herbivores, carnivores, decomposers and Scavengers and also make possible food chains and club all

    food chain to make web. (Minimum 5).

    Write science news with headings as given in newspaper. Elaborate it in your own words with pictures.

    Write a slogan advertising to save water. Write biography of any two Indian Scientists including

    birth, education, profession, discoveries and prize won (if any).

    Revise the finished syllabus in vacations and written test will be conducted after vacation.
