● You can extend your GeoBlue coverage if you are going to do personal travel before or after the program. GeoBlue is only $1.35 per day.

● You should receive a GeoBlue card and information letter. If you lose your card, you can go to the following link and print one out (https://www.geobluestudents.com/).

Things to Consider for YISS 2022● There is a possibility that YISS courses may be taught partially or

all online depending on the COVID-19 situation in Seoul and at Yonsei.

● As of October 4, 2021, South Korea has a mandatory quarantine for all incoming passengers to South Korea. This is paid for at your own expense and can range in cost from $1,400 to $2,100.

● Financial aid students must take at least six credits during the spring/summer in order to receive financial aid.

● YISS students typically have to make YISS tuition and housing payments directly to Yonsei in May before their UM financial aid and scholarship packages are available. This can often put some students in a financial bind.

● Regular YISS activities and events might be cancelled or have restrictions placed on them. Students should expect that COVID regulations will impact their time at YISS and in Korea.
