EssentialFunctions: Mustbeabletospeak,readandwritetheEnglishlanguage.SpecificResponsibilities:

TheCampDirectorworkscloselywiththeDirectorofSupportServicesingivingleadershiptothecamp–specificresponsibilitiesare:

1. Managementofcampbusinessrecordsasestablishedbythecouncil,

includingcollectionofandaccountingforcamperfees,tradingpostrevenues,pettycash,andpurchaseorders.Maintainandsubmitdailyreportsofcashtransactionsanddeposits.

2. Tohelppromotecampingopportunities3. Tosupervisethesummercampstaffandprogramthroughcertainkey

staffpersonnelanddepartmentheads4. Toassistinemployingthecampstaffandcarryoutthestafftraining

programasdeveloped.Befamiliarwithmembersofthestaffandtheirproblemsthroughhelpfulsupervisionandpersonalconferences.

5. WorkwiththeDirectorofSupportServicesandCouncilCampingCommitteetodevelopprogramopportunitieswhichmeettheneedsanddesiresofunitsandcampers

6. Makefrequentinspectionsofcampgivingdueconsiderationtosupplies,equipment,facilities,andoperatingpracticesofthecampandunitsincamp

7. Tohaveathoroughknowledgeofallproceduresrelatedtohealthandsafety,councilandNationalpolicies,useofequipment,andoperationoffacilities.TheCampDirectorwillenforceallsuchpolicies.

8. Supervisethephysicaloperationofthereservationincludingequipment,commissary,tradingpost,andspecialfacilities.

9. Maintainharmoniousrelationswithsurroundingpropertyowners,nearbyresidents,townandcountyofficialsandcommercialconcernswithwhomthecampdeals

10. Maintainhighmoralofthestaff,inspiretrust,recognizeachievement,andmakenoteofpoorperformance.Maintainconstanttouchwiththecampoperationthroughpersonalobservationandfrequentstafforstaffleadersmeetings.

standardsandtofulfillneedsforCounciluse.3. Tosuperviseprogramstaffthroughappropriatedepartmentheadsandpersonnel.4. Toassistinemployingthecampstaffandcarryoutthestaff-trainingprogramas

developed.Befamiliarwithmembersofthestaffandtheirproblemsthroughhelpfulsupervisionandpersonalconferences.

5. Toevaluatestaffmembersasrequestedandcompleteawrittenreportontheworkofthestaffattheendoftheseason.

6. InteractwithScouts,leadersandstaffmemberstoidentifyareasthatrequireattentiontomaintainthedeliveryofqualityprogramming.

7. Tohaveathoroughknowledgeofpoliciesandproceduresofthecampandcouncil8. Befamiliarwiththerequirements,needs,techniquesandinformationrequiredforthe
