Youth Empowerment Program

On 06/01/10, YEP began running 12:00 – 04:00 Monday

through Friday.

Transportation available at no cost to client

EXCITING NEW CHANGES TO YEP PROGRAM

YEP has had the opportunity to incorporate AmeriCorps

Volunteers into our program this summer. The addition

has allowed us increase the staff to client ratio and

provide more individualized services.

Urban League YEP has developed a cooperative

agreement with the YMCA that allows YEP staff and

consumers to access YMCA facilities during group hours.

This has allowed YEP to incorporate physical activity into

its service delivery. It has also offer an opportunity for

staff to observe the children in a social environment and

better assess progress on program objectives.

YEP is continuing efforts to incorporate Art, Dance and

Music into our program. Current we are in search of

Artists, Dancers and Musicians who have a passion for

their craft and would like to present it to kids. If you know

anyone who fits this description please encourage them

to contact us.

YEP is now accepting referrals for PRI and AC hours.
