Q: So, what exactly is STEAM Camp?
Campers will learn about educational pathways that can prepare them for STEAM
careers. This is a connected educational approach designed to share a well-
rounded experience.
Q: Who will be attending STEAM Camp?
Middle school students presented by the Urban League of Greater Madison, Girl
Scouts of Badgerland Wisconsin and Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Dane County.
Campers will discover together how to explore these exciting careers.
Q: How does STEAM Camp work?
This program runs from 8:00AM – 4:30PM, July 18 - 22nd. The day begins with
informal, hands-on presentations. The goal is to give our campers a realistic,
interactive and fun look at these careers.
Lunch will be provided, then we travel via bus to a STEAM location for afternoon
tours, demonstrations and a behind-the-scenes tours.
Q: How much does it cost to attend STEAM Camp?
Nothing. Zero. Zip. We only ask our campers make an investment of time – show
up every day on time, ready to participate, learn and have fun. We promise, it will
be well worth your time.
