EARLY LITERACY STORYTIME Question 1. Who did you serve, and what did you accomplished? Dr. Betty Brown (clinical psychologist) who work locally and nationally in areas of literacy and self- esteem volunteered with Early Literacy Storytime Summer Enrichment Program. I worked with the third graders in order for them to be able to develop fluency with addition and subtraction within one-hundred. Participant will be able to retell stories, including key details, and demonstrated understanding of their central message. They will be able to recount stories, including fables and folktales from diverse cultures and determine their central message. They will be able to describe how words and phrases (e.g. regular beats, alliteration, rhymes, repeated lines) supply rhythm and meaning in story poem, or songs.

My team’s plan is to continue too support the services of Early Literacy Storytime in regards to my field of expertise.

won part of the prize money?

If Early Literacy Storytime won part of the prize money they would be able to locate a larger facility to expand their programs.
