Wedding GazeboOur handcrafted cedar Wedding Gazebo is a short walk from the village centre, just off the cross mountain hiking trail. your guests can gather in front of our open sided gazebo to share in your ceremony while taking in the natural beauty the Okanagan Valley has to offer. A maximum of 120 guests is recommended to ensure that all can view the ceremony.

How to get to the GazeboOur Wedding Gazebo can be easily reached by foot from the end of the village. your guests will be issued a free hiking pass to cover our liability requirements; dated and bearing both of your names, this doubles as a perfect wedding souvenir. Due to the natural setting we regret that we cannot grant permission for any motorized vehicles to be used for transportation of wedding guests to the venue.

Old Fashioned Horse & Carriage For those wishing to arrive in style, why not consider our local horse and carriage service?

the carriage with covered roof or open top is drawn by a pair of impressive draft horses and is sure to add romantic old time ambience. the service most requested is for the bride and her bridesmaids to be transported to the wedding site and the bride and groom to be whisked away to their reception venue. the carriage can transport a maximum of 6 people at a time.

Our Summit Chairlift will safely take you to the top of the mountain and back down again after your photos. With a location as stunning as Silver Star there is no shortage of photo opportunities. Wedding Receptionthe Groups Department for Silver Star Mountain Resort offers you a choice of two reception venues suitable for smaller weddings.

We pride ourselves on providing high quality catering in cozy, intimate settings. For receptions of over 100 guests we recommend the Chilcoot Conference Centre, located here at the resort with a capacity up to 350 guests.

Wedding BrunchWe have found our wedding brunch to be an ever popular feature for many couples weekend plans. With many guests staying over in the resort to celebrate your wedding to the fullest, a wedding brunch and gift giving function the morning after your wedding day can be a wonderful way to finish the perfect weekend.

Wild Horseman’s Cabin Located a short horse drawn carriage ride away from the Wedding Gazebo the Wild horseman’s Cabin offers a truly authentic rustic venue for the nature lover at heart. Wedding guests can stroll out to your reception in 20 minutes (good walking shoes are a must) or be delivered in style by one of our carriage teams. Recommended for weddings in the height of summer only, the cabin offers cold buffet style catering and is lit by candles.

the venue can seat up to 40 people in a bench style layout. Panoramic views surround this secluded summer spot with the whispering pines being the only sounds around.

if you are looking for a small romantic spot for your ceremony we can accommodate the ceremony as well as the reception.

Chilcoot Conference Centrethe Conference Centre is the ideal, romantic setting for all types of wedding receptions. Whether you need seating for 50 or 350, casual or formal, the Chilcoot Ballroom can be transformed into your dream location.

Rental rates include white tablecloths and linen napkins, however, you are free to decorate the venue to your own tastes for your wedding day. there are a variety of sample menus to choose from or the option to personalize your own based on your creativity. We offer, pre-dinner drinks, a cocktail hour with finger food on arrival, buffet style or plated banquets, there is something to suit everyone. your bar can be set up as a host bar for a specific period of time or a cash bar can be arranged.
