Wednesday!13th!June!at!Alranda!Stad!Golf!which! is! a! 30! minute! journey! from! our!hotel.!!!

In!this!event,!golfers!will!enjoy!18Kholes!of!golf!in!an!individual!compe??on.!!!A! golf! package! is! available! which! includes! overnight! accommoda?on! on!Tuesday!12th!June,!travel!to!and!from!the!golf!club!on!Wednesday!13th!June!with!18Kholes!of!golf!and!some!great!prizes!!

This! fantas?c! park! on! the! water’s! edge! was! founded! in! 1883,! making! it!Sweden’s! oldest! amusement! park.! The! park’s! loca?on! is! quite! unique! in! the!sense!that!most!of!the!buildings!are!old!residen?al!and!commercial!structures!from! the! 19th! century.! The! buildings!were! not! built! for! the! park;! instead! the!park!was!built!around!the!buildings!and!rides!are!built!within!rides.!!The!Park!also!famous!for!its!rock!and!pop!music!concerts!and!has!played!host!to!most!of!the!world’s!greats!over!the!years! including!Bob!Marley,!Elton!John!and!of!course!ABBA.!

Our!visit!will!begin! in!the!theatre!where!we!will!welcome!you!all! to!this!year’s!conference!and!then!the!team!from!Gröna!Lund!will!introduce!the!park!and!share!its!history!with!us.!We!will!then!be!treated!to!a!special!back!stage!tour,! including!exclusive!access!to!some!of!the!secret!places!around!the!park!!Of!course,!refreshments!will!be!provided!during!our!visit!!!It!will!then!be!?me!to!let!you!loose!on!park!to!enjoy!the!many!rides!and!aZrac?ons!that!this!park! boasts! before! we! rendezvous! for! drinks! and! a! special! soiree! –! Swedish! snaps! and!tradi?onal!fayre!are!the!order!of!the!day!!!

Wednesday%13th%June%Registra?on!for!the!Summer!Conference!will!begin!at!1pm!in!the!lobby!of!the!Scandic! Ariadne! when! guests! can! collect! their! delegate! pack! and! name!badge.!We!will!then!be!heading!off!to!Gröna!Lund!by!coach.!!

Our!hosts!will!welcome!us!with!informa?on!on!the!history!and!set!up!of!the!centre!!and! then! you! will! be! able! to! enjoy! a! VIP! tour! of! the! whole! site! as! well! as! the!opportunity!to!partake!in!some!of!the!ac?vi?es.!!A_er!partaking!in!the!ac?vi?es!on!offer!at!Exploria,!it’ll!be!?me!for!lunch!!We!will!be! lunching! at! The!64Kgun!warship!Vasa!sank!on!her!maiden!voyage!in!1628!about!1,300m! into! her! journey.! She! was! salvaged! in! 1961! a_er! being!located!in!a!busy!fishing!lane!just!outside!Stockholm!harbour.!!!Vasa! is! a! real! treasure! from! the!17th!century! that!offers!us!a! rich!history,!from!the!work!at!the!Ship!Yard!to!life!on!board!a!warship.!
