As the co-chairs of the Tri-State Diversity Council’s 2nd Annual College Diversity Summit, it is our pleasure to welcome you to Onondaga Community College. We thank all of the sponsors and individuals who made this event possible.

We appreciate the efforts of the Tri-State Diversity Council for creating opportunities to discuss and explore the importance of diversity, inclusion and leadership development. This summit aims to foster a dialogue among students, universities, and employers, with the goal of promoting a collaborative multicultural society that acknowledges the value of diversity and inclusion.

We hope that the insights that our panelist share today will strengthen the essential leadership skills that students need to thrive in a professional world and work in innovative ways with individuals of diverse ethnicities, cultures and backgrounds.

Through this summit, students can interact with a network of organizational representatives who recognize the importance of leadership, learn keys to implementing successful leadership skills and learn more about leadership best practices from an impressive array of professionals.

Today’s agenda includes our outstanding keynote speaker, a selection of panel sessions – which will be accepting your questions – and opportunities for networking. We have a full day planned for you, so let’s get started!
