If you’re a golfer who doesn’t like playing the same 18 holes time after time but still likes having a home course, Timber Creek/Sierra Pines is the place for you. With 27 holes instead of just 18, there are more options for play than the wide majority of courses.

Not only are there three separate nines, but both the Lakes and Oaks nines have three men’s tees and two women’s. Sierra Pines has even more variation with five tee boxes for men and three for women, including an executive set for each.

Timber Creek is typically made up of the Lakes and Oaks nines with Sierra Pines as a stand-alone course. All distinct in their playing characteristics just as designers Billy Casper and Greg Nash intended.

Just as thrilling is the value you'll receive with your Sun City Payers Club pass! There are weekday, weekend, mid-day, twilight, walking, riding, and discounted practice range rates available to customize your golf needs. Dining

The Timbers Restaurant is a real treat for golfers before, during, and after the turn. A full-service restaurant, Timbers offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner from daylight to after dark. Executive Chef Kevin Huff even prepares daily lunch and dinner specials for your dining pleasure.

Early diners can take advantage of our Early Bird Dinner Specials.

On Saturdays and Sundays, enjoy our wonderful Champagne Brunch.

Our Solarium private dining room can cater parties for up to forty people.

Clubs Sun City Roseville has over 50 chartered clubs. There is literally something for everyone!

Our computer club and financial investment club are quite active. We have an exciting

fine arts group and a ceramics club and a needle arts club. Sports clubs include cycling,

bocce, tennis, and many others. Many residents participate in SCR clubs and find them

not only a source of fun and growth, but also a terrific way to meet the wonderful people

Fitness Center Sun City Roseville residents have at their disposal a wonderful Fitness Center. The main

building is comprised of a Senior Olympic size indoor heated pool and spa, Weight

Room, Aerobics and Dance Room, Massage Room, full Locker Room, and Snack

Bar/Pro Shop. Membership to the Fitness Center is free to all residents and available to

guests for a small fee.

The Weight Room boasts top-quality Life Fitness equipment, including treadmills,

Lifecycles, cross-trainers, and Stairmasters. Upon completing a one-hour orientation,

residents receive a complimentary session with a personal trainer, who will design a

program of exercise suited specifically to the individual's goals and abilities. Additional

sessions are available at competitive rates.

There are group exercise classes, taught by friendly, knowledgeable instructors, in the

well-appointed Aerobics Room. Group exercise classes, specialty classes, massage

therapy, and personal training is available at reasonable rates. Residents may attend low

impact aerobics, step aerobics, sports conditioning, tone & stretch, and yoga on a drop-in

basis. Taiji is offered at a nominal charge.

The indoor pool and spa offer residents a convenient venue for lap swimming, water

walking, water volleyball, and just relaxing. For those preferring a more structured

workout, group exercise classes, sponsored by the popular Aqua Exercise Club, are

available for an extremely reasonable fee.

The resort-like outdoor pool is surrounded by patio lounges, chairs, tables, and umbrellas.

Sunbathers can cool off, read, visit with friends and neighbors, or catch a rejuvenating

nap along side the 10th hole of the championship golf course.

Clubs have been formed for users of the Sports Courts who wish to enjoy their game in

the company of other enthusiasts. Most clubs offer opportunities for friendly competition

plus after-hours cocktail parties and barbeques, making sports a social, as well as a

physical, outlet. In addition, there are open court times available to the occasional

athlete, as well as to guests of Sun City residents.

Invigorating workouts can be capped off with a soothing, professional rubdown from our

licensed and experienced massage therapists, who offer sessions right here in the Fitness

Center.

Activities

The Activities Department is committed to promoting a quality active adult lifestyle for

Sun City Roseville residents through exceptional activities, programs and services. We

maintain a large library; organize bus trips to theater s, museums and other local events.

We also provide longer outings to national parks and other interesting locales. We hold a

yearly carnival and host a number of holiday celebrations with a wide variety of

entertainment throughout the year.
