STEWARDSHIP Sunday, March 20, 2016

They are to do good, to be rich in good works, generous and ready to share, thus storing

up for themselves the treasure of a good foundation for the future…. (2 Tim. 6: 18-19)

Today, the beginning of Holy Week, we remember Jesus’ entrance into

Jerusalem, during which He was proclaimed the Messiah with shouts of Hosanna

as He rode on a donkey. The people used Palms to wave at Jesus and cover the

road, as a sign of honouring Him.

Today, we also honour Jesus by proclaiming Him as our Lord and Saviour. Each

week we honour Jesus by the gifts we generously give, which enable St.

Barnabas to proclaim the Good News of God’s redemption of humanity all year

round.

Our goal at St. Barnabas is to both build up

the body of Christ, and encourage sound

stewardship of our finances and our building.

We remind you that, even if the St. Barnabas

building is demolished and replaced by a

smaller facility on this site, donations to the

St. Barnabas Building Fund will remain part

of St. Barnabas’ assets, and retained for our

use in the maintenance of whatever building

we have. We thank you for your continued

support.
