during the Sunday School HourThis Sunday will mark another step in the spiritual journey of 18 of Central's6th grade students, as they come forward and publicly acknowledge thepresence of God in their lives, accepting grace and salvation offered onlythrough Jesus Christ. We, as a congregation, have the opportunity tosupport and welcome them into fellowship. The students will be Confirmedat the 8:30 service and presented to the congregation at the 10:55 service. GROWING OUR FAITH FUND-RAISER FOR CENTRAL'S CHILDREN and FAMILY MINISTRY

Beginning this Sunday you will have the opportunity to support Central'sChildren and Family Ministry in a unique way. On the display in theCrossing you will find 125 envelopes with amounts ranging from $1 to$125. We ask that you simply pick an envelope with an amount, place thecash or check for that amount in the envelope, and either place it in thebox provided or drop off at the church office. These contributions will goto offset costs of both children and family camps and retreats.

PALM SUNDAYChildren will participate in the Procession of Palms at both the 8:30 a.m.and 10:55 a.m. services on Palm Sunday, March 29th. Those participatingin the 8:30 service, please be in the Crossing at 8:20, and 10:50 for the10:55 service!

FINANCE AND STEWARDSHIPIn what ways have you grown spiritually during this Lenten season? Has some passage of scripturecaptured your imagination? During prayer time in God's presence has the Holy Spirit given directionto your life? Have you reached out to aid someone spiritually or physically? CENTRAL'S RAMP MINISTRY - RAMP BUILDLast Saturday, March 22nd, volunteers from Central constructed a ramp for Mrs. MaryClark after dismantling an old ramp, which was far too steep. Representing Central wereLeigh Barber (photographer), Alan Brown, Jim Copeland, Cliff Gilbert, Sandy Johnson,Tom Johnson, David Labutka, Blair Mitcham, and James Whitley. They were assisted byJerry Fox, (Team Leader) and by Vickie Gregory, Kevin Rooney, and Kim Runyan ofLauderdale UMC.
