APRIL 14, 2013 BULLETIN RAY’S REMARKS: I hope you are enjoying the month of April so far. It has been a really nice month weather wise. It is so nice to see the beautiful green grass and the flowers as they come to life. I also love to look at those gorgeous white blooms on those pear trees. God’s creation is certainly a wondrous and glorious blessing to us all. The weather has also helped in allowing many of our family to get out and be physically present at worship. I know several of our members struggle with health issues to the point they are unable to get out much. Especially when the weather is bad or during the winter, so it is a great blessing to have nicer weather again which allows many of you to be with us who often are not able. It’s always best when all of God’s family is together to worship our God. With that in mind I hope we will continue to look over the prayer list and the bulletin to keep all those with special prayer needs before God’s Mighty throne. It is great to have a church family and to know that others are praying with you and for you in times of need. So let’s all be there one for another and encourage each other in every way possible. Let me take just a moment and remind our men of the congre- gation of another opportunity for growth and fellowship. Every month we have a men’s breakfast and this month’s breakfast is this coming Saturday. If you have never been before you are missing out. We have just a laid back and enjoyable time together as we eat breakfast prepared by brother Bill Heavin and Wesley Ewing. Then we have a short devotional together. It is a great time of communion with those of like precious faith. Why not give it a try this Saturday and be with us at 8:00. Finally, let me encourage us all to enjoy the many rich blessing of life which our God has given us. Let’s also remember that this coming Lord’s day we have the privilege of gathering together before God and worshipping His Holy Name. I look forward to seeing you all there. Until then, God bless! *Ray Sullins* SPECIAL SERVANTS ELDERS: DEACONS: GARY DALTON MARK MCCARTY - 844-4637 833-4219 DAVID FIELDER - 889-6450 DWAYNE GREEN - 732-1493 JERRY SULLINS SETH HASS - 345-1667 833-9903 LEROY HATHCOCK - 869-8434 EVANGELISTS: RAY SULLINS 883-8795 CHURCH OFFICE: 869-2284 CHUCK NORTHROP FAX/INFO LINE: 773-4903 862-9620 EMAIL ADDRESS: [email protected] WEB PAGES: KECHURCHOFCHRIST.COM THELIVINGWORDPROGRAM.COM BIBLEINSTITUTEOFMISSOURI.COM ZAMBIASCHOOLOFBIBLICALSTUDIES.COM KANSAS EXPRESSWAY CHURCH OF CHRIST 2540 N.
