We will share in God’s fullness and become saints who share and reflect in God’s glory! Meanwhile, we have hope of this holiness and it draws us toward heavenly virtues and grace. We pray for our faithful departed souls who await the fullness of God’s glory and light as we pray them into the fullness of God’s life. Today’s readings from the Word of God, remind us to trust God and rely on divine providence for what is essential in this journey of faith and life. The Gospel of St. Mark, chapter 12, reminds us of the story of the proud and pretentious rich with the poor, humble widow. The widow’s self-sacrificing gift is not unnoticed and in contrast, the rich, having given only a portion of their wealth, still rely on themselves, not on God. The questions for our prayerful reflection this week might be How do we rely on God? How is our faithful stewardship helping us to be better disciples of the Lord? Could we give up something we think we need in order to share with someone whose need is greater. Many thanks for your generosity at this time of Thanksgiving for those less fortunate especially in our blanket drive and coat drive! God bless you and those you love! God’s blessings and every grace to the newly weds as they begin to live the Sacrament they have received.

Dear Friends in Christ,

During this month of November and the closing days of Autumn, we celebrate All Saint’s and All Soul’s,

which remind us of our immortality and human condition yet also our call to share in God’s eternal life and immortality. We are invited into the very triune eternal life of God. John’s First letter tells us that God has loved us and therefore we have become His children. We will share in God’s fullness and become saints who share and reflect in God’s glory! Meanwhile, we have hope of this holiness and it draws us toward heavenly virtues and

grace.

The widow’s self-sacrificing gift is not unnoticed and in

contrast, the rich, having given only a portion of their wealth, still rely on themselves, not on God.

The questions for our prayerful reflection this week might be – How do we rely on God? How is our faithful stewardship helping us to be better disciples of the Lord? Could we give up something we think we need in order to share with someone whose need is greater.

Many thanks for your generosity at this time of

Thanksgiving for those less fortunate especially in our blanket drive and coat drive!

God bless you and those you love! Blessed Autumn and Thanksgiving. May we always have a grateful and generous heart and spirit!!

In His Love and mine!
