NOTICE re: postponements and cancelations

All events and meetings continue to be put on hold at Saints Peter and Paul. This includes Solemn Communion for the class of 2019-2020, which was supposed to be at the end of April. Other events which will not be happening in the near fu-ture are our parish praznyk on the Feast of Saints Peter and Paul (June 29) and Va-cation Bible School (first week of July). Also, the size of public gatherings allowed in Saskatchewan does not yet permit us to begin celebrating public Divine Litur-gies with appropriate physical distancing and other precautions.

Registrations for Sadok Dzvinok Ukrainian Preschool for the 2020-2021 school year are being accepted now. 3 year old children attend classes Tuesday and Thurs-day. 4 year old children attend classes Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. Class times for both programs run from 9:15 a.m. - 11:15 a.m. If you have any questions regarding the program or want to enroll your child, contact the preschool at sadok.dzvinok@gmail.com.

How Can I Donate to Saints Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church during the Pandemic?

Parishioners have been asking how they can donate financially to the church during this time of the COVID-19 pandemic, when we are not able to gather together in person as usu-al. They know that our parish still has costs, and financial obligations and responsibilities. We appreciate the question and the support! We offer different means to allow you to donate financially to the parish at this time if you are able.

• Set up pre-authorized debit (PAD) for monthly donations. Click here for the PAD form. • You can print the form off, complete it, sign it, and mail it in with a void cheque. • You can also drop off your completed and signed form with a void cheque in the

NEW secure parish mail slot in the blue door on the north side of the rectory by the Fathers’ garages.

• You can also complete the form, sign it, scan it, and submit the form over email to sspp@sasktel.net (please submit an electronic void cheque from your bank with the form).

• NEW! Make an E-TRANSFER one-time donation.

• Make a donation directly from your bank account using your online banking or your banking app on your smartphone.

• Use the parish email, sspp@sasktel.net, as the recipient. • We are set up for auto deposit so no passwords or secret questions are required. • Call or email Theresa in the parish office if you need more information or help.

• NEW! Make a one-time donation on your CREDIT CARD through the Ukrainian Catholic

section. The Foundation will gather these designated donations and on a monthly basis send them to our parish.

• We continue to accept donations at the parish office even though the office is closed to in

-person visits at this time. • Simply drop your donation in the NEW secure parish mail slot in the blue door on

the north side of the rectory by the Fathers’ garages. You may want to consider either doing post-dated cheques in one drop or one cheque for the month. This will allow you to make only one trip to the parish instead of coming out weekly.

• You can also send cheques (no cash) in the mail. As with your regular donations (numbered envelopes), pre-authorized debit, e-transfers, and credit card donations through the foundation are tax deductible. 2020 Cemetery Services

This year because of COVID-19, services at the cemeteries in Saskatoon will be happening a little differently. There will be no common service for the public at the start time. Please wait for a priest at the grave you would like blessed and the priest will come to you. Please practice appropriate physical distancing.
