Parish Goal: $29,700.00 Amount Pledged: $18,568.00 (51 of 108 households pledged)Pledge Payments Received: $17,203.00 Pledge Amount Needed to Reach Goal: $11,132.00*Please note that instead of requesting $200.00 per family, the Eparchy is kindly asking for a pledge of $275.00 per family to allow the Eparchy to continue funding programs within our Eparchy. It has been 20 years that we have asked for $200.00 and it’s now time to upgrade that to meet the rising cost of programs from 20 years ago.

So far a little less than half of parishioners have made their pledge. We encourage you to make your pledge soon. Remember that the eparchy is asking for each family to try and pledge $275.00. It is very impor-tant for us as the cathedral parish to support this important fund drive which benefits various programs in our eparchy. Your pledge is very important and greatly appreciated. Sunday of the Paralytic

Troparion & KontakionOn this day the Church remembers the man who lay by the Sheep’s Pool in Jerusalem for thirty-eight years, waiting for someone to put him into the pool. The first one to enter the pool after an angel troubled the water would be healed of his infirmities, but someone always entered the pool

before him.Seeing the man, the Lord felt compassion for him and healed him.

The Kontakion for this Fourth Sunday of Pascha asks Christ to raise up our souls, “paralyzed by sins and thoughtless acts.”
