Scan Away Hunger is an annual effort to provide meals and care for hungry people in central Iowa . . . and you can help! Hand a paper plate (available at the Events Center) to a checker at a participating Hy-Vee and say “I’d like to Scan Away Hunger”. Each time the checker scans the code on your plate, $1.85 will be added to your bill OR give online at hopeiowa.org/hunger.

Book Buddies are reading Christmas Roses by Amanda Cabot, We will meet for our discussion on Monday, January 8 from 6:30-7:30 in New Hope Java. If you love to read you will enjoy this group. Call Lindalee Lovelace with any questions.

New Hope Volleyball Leagues begin in January. This is a great opportunity to meet new people and make new friends. Tuesday night is Rec League, a more casual game that follows what we call backyard volleyball rules and is free of charge. Thursday night is Competitive League which follows basic volleyball rules and has an official referee. This league costs $25, which covers the cost of a referee. Both leagues are intended to be fun, social, and recreational. Sign up online and pay your money at the Events Center.

NHtots 2yr olds and preschoolers please meet in the early childhood department tonight by 6:00 for Songs of the Season.

Kids will be performing Christmas songs during our annual Songs of the Season tonight at 6:00. Kids, please sit with your parents until Pastor Cortney calls you up.

A special Christmas Love Offering will be presented to our pastors on Christmas Eve. You may enclose your love gift in an offering envelope and designate it “For Pastors.” We are so thankful to have such a great team of pastors! -The Deacon Board

The church family is invited to the marriage ceremony of Chelsea Parkhurst and Aaron Collins on December 30 at 2:00 p.m. here at New Hope.

Youth missions trip to Haiti will depart in January. We are looking for donated items such as school supplies, flip flops/slides, soccer balls, and monetary donations. Please stop by the table in the foyer for more information on how you can help. All donations are tax deductible.
