SCRIPTURESCRIPTURE Mark 16:1-8 (NKJV)
He Is Risen
16 Now when the Sabbath was past, Mary
Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome
bought spices, that they might come and anoint
Him. 2 Very early in the morning, on the first day of
the week, they came to the tomb when the sun had
risen. 3 And they said among themselves, “Who will
roll away the stone from the door of the tomb for
us?” 4 But when they looked up, they saw that the
stone had been rolled away—for it was very large. 5
And entering the tomb, they saw a young man
clothed in a long white robe sitting on the right side;
and they were alarmed. 6 But he said to them, “Do not be alarmed. You seek
Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He is risen! He
is not here. See the place where they laid Him. 7 But
go, tell His disciples—and Peter—that He is going
before you into Galilee; there you will see Him, as He
said to you.” 8 So they went out quickly[a] and fled from the tomb,
for they trembled and were amazed. And they said
nothing to anyone, for they were afraid.

RESPONSIVE READINGRESPONSIVE READING Psalm 27: 1Psalm 27: 1--66 (NKJV)(NKJV)
LEADER: The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid?
CONG: When the wicked came against me To eat up my flesh, My enemies and foes, They stumbled and fell.
LEADER: Though an army may encamp against me, My heart shall not fear; Though war may rise against me, In this I will be confident.
CONG: One thing I have desired of the Lord, That will I seek: That I may dwell in the house of the Lord All the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the Lord, And to inquire in His temple.
LEADER: For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion; In the secret place of His tabernacle He shall hide me; He shall set me high upon a rock.
ALL: And now my head shall be lifted up above my enemies all around me; Therefore I will offer sacrifices of joy in His tabernacle; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the Lord.

Special Giving Above Tithe and Offering
“The tenth shall be holy unto the Lord.” Leviticus 27:32
Every Christian should strive to learn how to be a cheerful giver. When we give what does it actually mean? It simply means we, cheerfully give to God our tithes and offerings. Tithing honors God. Are you giving the Lord His tithes or your tips? The word tithe means to give back to God one tenth of your earnings for the support of the ministry, the expenses of the church, the relief of the poor and the spread of the Gospel throughout the world.
If you earn
You owe the Lord
$10 $1
$50 $5
$75 $7.50
