WELCOME

One of our core values at Fellowship of Faith is a desire to be real. The church needs to be a place where people can experience real-life joys, passions, and struggles. Because of this we strive to communicate God’s truth and share our experiences in open and honest ways. We believe it’s important as a community to be honest about our shortcomings, authentic in our lives, and sincere in what we teach. We want to be humble and express our faith in a way that is genuine.

No matter what’s your past or present, we invite you on this journey with us.

Communion TodayDeath. Resurrection. Community. A foretaste of the feast to come.

It’s how the Bible describes communion.

Non-alcoholic wine is available in the center of each tray.Gluten-free wafers are available by request when you come forward.

So many things we do we take for granted. And in the process forget why we do them to begin with. A series on Lent, why it’s important, and what this

strange practice has to do with living in Christ.

This Week: Why 23.3%Next Week: Why We Confess. Why We Profess.

• Memorize: Nothing beats ingesting God’s Word and making it your own. Memorize Galations 5:16-25 by March 24.

• Covenant Renewal: Take this Lent to reflect, renew, and recommit with the FOF Covenant Renewal – a short assessment to help you gauge how you’re growing spiritually and reveal possible next steps. Available on FOF’s Current & Upcoming webpage and at the Welcome Center.

Care Team• Tuesday, March 13 @ 3:30pm Write cards. Make visits. Assist with rides. Prepare meals. Send care packages. Text or email words of encouragement. The Bible says, “Encourage one another and build each other up.” Come to Care Team and help encourage others in a time of need.

CURRENT & UPCOMING

Ministering to the Missionaries• Sundays, March 11 & 18So often we focus on giving to those in need around the world, but forget about the missionaries themselves. Join the Kenya Ministry Team as we bless Elaine Filter and the Oasis for Orphans missionaries in Kenya. Stop by the Kenya Ministry table for a list of items to purchase to be sent to Kenya. Drop off items at FOF by March 18.

FOOLISHNESS: HOLY WEEK AT FOF

The Bible says the events in the life of Jesus from Palm Sunday to Easter are a foolishness of God that’s wiser than anything in this world. This Holy Week discover the salvation and power of God’s foolishness in your life.

Palm Sunday• Sunday, March 25 @ 9 & 10:30amPalm Sunday was a pilgrim day for Jews, some walking hundreds of miles to celebrate Passover in Jerusalem. It was a party, a religious experience, a physical journey with a spiritual goal.

Take a pilgrimage this Palm Sunday. Join together with others and walk to FOF from your home. Yes, walk. Rain or shine. Post your starting location at the Welcome Center and receive a Pilgrim T-Shirt.

Maundy Thursday• Thursday, March 29 @ 7pmOn the night he was betrayed, Jesus met in an upper room of a house with his disciples to share the Passover meal. Commune like Jesus did. A Maundy Thursday worship experience mirroring Jesus’ last supper. To experience the service fully, invite friends and fast for the day.

Good Friday• Friday, March 30 @ 7 & 9pm An ancient Good Friday service of darkness and shadow, retelling the story of Christ’s crucifixion. Relive the night Jesus gave his life for you. Childcare for toddlers – K @ 7pm.

Easter Sunrise• Sunday, April 1 @ 6amVery early on the first day of the week, while it was still dark, the women took the spices they had prepared and went to Jesus’ tomb. When they arrived, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus.

Experience that first Easter morning! An outdoor Easter sunrise service celebrating Jesus’ resurrection. Bring a blanket or chair and dress for the weather. Rain, snow, or shine. Bring a digital device to follow song lyrics and readings. Service available on the FOF website after Palm Sunday.

Easter Sunday• Sunday, April 1 @ 8, 9:30, & 11amChrist is risen! Celebrate the event at the heart of it all. The Rock 1st-5th and Boulder will not meet. The Rock Toddlers - K meets at 9:30 & 11am.
