Message to the Parents:
Dear Parents/s,
We had a great Spring Break!!! We thank mother nature for the lovely spring weather in
the week off from school for the Kindergarteners. The rest of the groups enjoyed their nature
walksas well.
We would like to remind the parents that we are taking suggestions for the summer field
trips at this time. We would like to acknowledge and thank Lisa-Marie King , a parent who has
children in our Daycare Centre and has a Recreational & Leisure Services Diploma is putting
together a bunch of Offsite Excursions and other ideas for a fun Summer Program for our
Daycare . Once short listed a copy of the activities along with the fiscal responsibilities will be
presented to the families at the soonest.
We have received the majority of the Family Surveys back and are now working on our
QEP(Quality Enhancement Plan) which will have our short term, medium term & long term
plans. We are planning a parent meeting towards the end of May to form a Parent Advisory
Board. Kindly communicate with the room staff as to what time in the evening is most
convenient. We were hoping 7-8PM.
We thank the families for bringing back the permission forms for the participation and
involvement of the Leduc County FCSS FOR skill Enhancement, enhanced programming and
support of children’s individual development and needs and for opportunities for early
identification of families that could benefit from support and linkages to community resources.
April is Earth Month and we would like to request parents to save their wine bottle
corks for a project that our OSC Program has planned for the recycle crafts to celebrate Earth
Month. We would be thankful if they can be handed to the room staff for your child and they will
be collected and given to the OSC Program.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Kim or Rani in person, e-mail-
[email protected] or by phone at 780-929-2298.
