Sunnyside News Worship Service ▪ VBS Volunteers’ Potluck – there will be a potluck meeting of all the VBS volunteers in the Fellowship Hall.

▪ Please pray for the family and friends of: Lynn Drury, a former member, who passed away May 9. A memorial service will be conducted at The Village Church June 22, 3:00 PM.

▪ Tomorrow, Sunday, 1:00-4:00 PM, is SunnyCity Children's Fair with Ben Roy, the science guy! It will be held on the campus of Portland Adventist Academy. This is Sunnyside's outreach to the local neighborhood. If you are not volunteering, stop by to check out what your church is doing.

▪ Student Aid applications – It’s that time of year again! If you are in need of financial aid to attend one of our schools, please fill out an application which is available from the table in the narthex or the church office 503-252-8080. Applications are due in the office by June 24.

▪ A Church Business Meeting will be conducted June 26, 7:00 PM. The agenda consists of:

1) Financial Review 2) Membership 3) ReNew Project 4) Facilities Project 5) Administration Policy Changes 6) Church Vision. Please take time to attend; your input is vital to our church operations.

▪ Thursday, June 27, 7:00 PM, and Saturday, June 29, 7:00 PM, the 21st Century Initiative will be here at Sunnyside Church in concert. Please take time to enjoy this concert; you will not be disappointed.

▪ We are actively seeking volunteers to join our Audio and Video teams. Experience is not required. If you would like to join one of these teams, please contact the church office, 503-252-8080, email [email protected], or send us a note on a Communication card.

▪ Vacation Bible School will be conducted June 28-30: Friday, June 28, 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM; Saturday, June 29, 8:45 AM to 12:30 PM; and Sunday, June 30, 8:45 AM to 12:30 PM. Kids will explore God’s goodness and celebrate a ferocious faith that powers them through this wild life. Register at https://urlzs.com/PRac.

▪ A special thank you to all who have provided flowers for our services. Our flower calendar is posted in the hallway. There are still a lot of blank dates available. Please choose a date to share flowers with our Sunnyside family for our worship services and place your name on it. As the date gets closer, we will contact you to see what you would like to place in the bulletin about the flowers.
