At the MAKS 2015 Airshow , Sukhoi Civil Aircraft have announced new version of Superjet 100 regional aircraft with more powerful and bigger engines, range extension and winglets. The aircraft will be called SSJ100 V100. It is not clear how this version would differ from SSJ100/95LR announced earlier, which has it's prototype fuselage delivered last year for fatigue testing at TsAGi in Moscow. Current order book stands at 360 firm orders plus 120 options with more than 70 aircraft built so far. The company’s main competition appears to be Embraer E-Jet series.

Sukhoi typically do not outsource structure development and manufacture, which they do for systems. If Sukhoi would outsource winglet development and if the economic sanctions would not prohibit such a work, some of the companies which specialize in the development of the winglets are GKN, KAI, KAL, RUAG and FACC.

FACC is probably the most successful company out of the 5 regarding winglet manufacture and design, supplying winglets to both Boeing and Airbus on B737, A320, A350...
