4-H Fighting Hunger Challenge

Challenging all 4-H clubs to collect food and raise money for Manna Food Pantry. The

challenge will begin May 18th and end August 9th.

Here is how it works: clubs bring their food (NO PERISHABLE GOODS) or money to the Extension Office, or on these dates to the fairgrounds; June 20th, July 18th, and

August 9th. The food brought in will be weighed and the money will be counted (each $1.00 will

equal 2 pounds). We will log each club and keep a running total which will be hung at the Extension Office. The club that has raised the most in weight or dollars will receive

a pizza party for their club. The second place will get an ice cream party. Let’s have fun fighting against hunger in our county!
