Superfudge is the sequel to Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing.

It would be appropriate for upper elementary and middle school students.

Characters

The main character in this novel is Peter Hatcher, a sixth grade student who is the oldest child in a family of three.

Peter’s younger brother Farley Drexel Hatcher (Fudge) is always creating mischief and annoying Peter.

Tamara Roxanne Hatcher (Tootsie), is the youngest child in the family. Peter’s mother delivers her right before the family moves to New Jersey.

Jimmy Fargo is Peter’s best friend in New York

Peter meets Alex Santo in New Jersey. The two become fast friends collecting worms together.

Joanne McFadden is Peter’s first crush in New Jersey.
