Here are some ways to improve your digestion:

1. Emphasize chewing your food.

First off. Slow down! Enjoy your meal, savor every bite, and actually taste your food.The digestive process starts in your mouth. By thoroughly chewing your food, saliva is allowed to mix with the food. This starts the process of breaking down carbohydrates through an enzyme within the saliva called amylase.

Try to chew your food 10 to 20 times before swallowing.

2. Don't drink water with your meals.

If you need water to help get down your food, you aren't chewing enough. The water may also dilute your stomach acid; not

allowing this digestive mechanism to break down the food you just consumed. 

You should also stop drinking water 30 minutes prior to your meal.

3. Supplement with Hydrochloric Acid.

As food passes into the stomach, its presence stimulates the release of gastrin and HCL and the breakdown of protein begins. However, this breakdown of protein into amino acids can only occur if there's enough HCL in the stomach for the pepsinogen to convert to pepsin, the enzyme responsible for this protein digestion.

Hydrochloric acid is a vital component in helping you absorb all these nutrients. And most of us are low in this chemical component of our digestive system.

Symptoms of deficiency in HCL:

• Looking or feeling bloated after a meal

• Farting or belching after meals

HCL Protocol:

Have a few bites of the food at your meal.

Then take one capsule..

Finish the rest of your meal and assess how you feel afterward.

Continue taking one capsule at the allotted time of each meal for two days.

If You Feel…

Burning in your throat or stomach: Stop taking.

This burning in your throat or stomach is a signal that your body produces enough HCL. This is a good thing and you will not need to supplement with it. However, you can still improve your digestion through some ways discussed below.

Nothing: Increase one capsule per meal.

After two days of taking one capsule, if you have no effects (as stated above) we can increase your dosage. Start by bumping up to two capsules with each meal for another two days. If you do not feel the burning in your throat or stomach, then increase to three then finally four capsules. Do not exceed a maximum of 4 capsules per meal.
