Pandora is a free, personalized Internet radio serviceplaying only music you love. Enter your favorite artists ortracks and Pandora will bring an effortless personalsoundtrack into your living room. Rate tracks as theyplay, because Pandora caters to your tastes and adaptsstations to your feedback on the spot.Since all Pandora accounts are portable, you canalways access your own personalized Pandora stationsfrom any computer or device in the United States thatsupports Pandora. Pandora is only available within theUnited States due to licensing restrictions.Pandora is always free, with the option to upgrade toPandora One which is completely free of all advertisingand comes with additional features.For more information, http://www.pandora.com

• To use this function, the unit must be connected to the Internet. Fordetail on connections and network settings, refer to “Owner’sManual”.

• If any error message appears on the front display, see “Errorindications on the front display” in “Owner’s Manual”.

• The actual display may be partly different from display images usedon this document depending on the model.

Account setup for PandoraIf you have not set up your Pandora account yet, theaccount setup screen appears when you select“Pandora”. To start using the Pandora service on theunit, follow the procedure below to set up your Pandoraaccount.

• You can register up to eight Pandora accounts on the unit. Fordetails, see “Editing the Pandora accounts” (p.4).

1 Press NET repeatedly to select “Pandora”as the input source.

The following screen is displayed on the TV ifyou have not set up your Pandora account onthe unit yet.

2 Press ENTER.

3 Use the cursor keys (q/w) to select “AddAccount” and press ENTER.

4 If you have a Pandora account, use thecursor keys to select “YES” and pressENTER.

If you do not have a Pandora account, usethe cursor keys to select “NO” and pressENTER.

5 Perform the following procedure.

If you select “YES” in Step 4

a Press ENTER to enter the email address entryscreen.

b Use the cursor keys and ENTER to enter yourPandora account email address and select “OK”.

To clear the entry, select “CLEAR”

c Press ENTER to enter the password entry screen.

d Use the cursor keys and ENTER to enter yourPandora password and select “OK”.

The following screen appears if you havesuccessfully logged into your account.

• If the error screen appears, login has failed. In this case, readthe on-screen message and start all over again.

e Press ENTER.

Using the Pandora service

The Pandora service is available in the U.S.A., Australia and NewZealand only.

If you select “NO” in Step 4

a Write down the URL and active code shown in theTV.

b Use a web browser on your PC to access the URLand follow the on-screen instruction to register for aPandora account.

c After activation, press ENTER to log in with yournew Pandora account.

Creating Pandora stationsPandora lets you create up to 100 custom radio stationsthat play only music you love. Just type in your favoritetrack or artist and Pandora will create a station thatplays similar music.

• If there are no Pandora stations in your account, the “CreateStation” screen appears automatically. In this case, proceed toStep 4 and create Pandora stations.

1 Press NET repeatedly to select “Pandora”as the input source.

The browse screen is displayed on the TV.

• If playback of any Pandora station is ongoing, the playbackscreen is displayed. Press RETURN to display the browsescreen.

2 Use the cursor keys to select “Utility” andpress ENTER.

3 Use the cursor keys to select “CreateStation” and press ENTER.

4 Use the cursor keys and ENTER to enterthe name of an artist or a track (all or partof the name) and select “Search”.

The auto-complete list will appear on the rightside of the screen during the name entry. If youselect an artist or a track from the list, it will beadded to your Pandora stations. The playback ofthe selected station starts automatically and theplayback screen is displayed.

To close the “Create Station” screen and returnto the browse screen, press RETURN.

5 Perform the following procedure.

If both artists and tracks are found

a Use the cursor keys to select “ARTISTS” or“TRACKS” and press ENTER.

b Use the cursor keys to select a desired item andpress ENTER.

The selected item is added to your Pandorastations. The playback starts automatically and theplayback screen is displayed.

If either artists or tracks are found

Use the cursor keys to select a desired item and pressENTER.

The selected item is added to your Pandora stations.The playback starts automatically and the playbackscreen is displayed.

If only one item is found

In this case, the item found is automatically added toyour Pandora stations. The playback startsautomatically and the playback screen is displayed.

If no items are found

Press ENTER and repeat Step 4 to try anotherkeyword.

• To return to the browse screen, press RETURN.

Playback of Pandora stationsIf you have created Pandora stations, follow theprocedure below to select a Pandora station to beplayed.

1 Press NET repeatedly to select “Pandora”as the input source.

The browse screen (My Station list) is displayedon the TV.

• If you have not signed in, the account list screen is displayed.Use the cursor keys to select your Pandora account and pressENTER.

Editing the Pandora accountsYou can register up to 8 Pandora accounts on the unit.Follow the procedure below to add or remove Pandoraaccounts, or switch to another Pandora account.

1 Press ON SCREEN.

2 Use the cursor keys to select “Input” andpress ENTER.

3 Use the cursor keys (e/r) to select“Pandora” and press the cursor key (q).

4 Perform the following procedure.

To add a new Pandora account

a Use the cursor keys (q/w) to select “Add Account”and press ENTER.

b Follow from Step 4 of “Account setup for Pandora”(p.1).

To remove a Pandora account

a Use the cursor keys (q/w) to select “RemoveAccount” and press ENTER.

b Use the cursor keys to select a Pandora account tobe removed and press ENTER.

c Use the cursor keys to select “OK” and pressENTER.

To switch to another Pandora account

a Use the cursor keys (q/w) to select “Switch User”and press ENTER.

b Use the cursor keys to select a Pandora account tobe used and press ENTER.The browse screen (My Station list) for the selectedPandora account is displayed.

Bookmarkthis track

Adds the current track to yourbookmarks on your Pandora profilepage at “http://www.pandora.com”.

Bookmarkthis artist

Adds the current artist to yourbookmarks on your Pandora profilepage at “http://www.pandora.com”.

Tired ofthis track

Requests not to play back the currenttrack for a month and skip to the nexttrack.

Why thistrack?

Display the information why this trackis selected.

a Resumes playback from pause.

s Stops playback.

d Stops playback temporarily.
