CometSmall footprint, a lot of comfort

YALA’s new Comet is a classic glamping tent that easily fits into small camping ground pitches. Although it’s compact, the efficient layout means that your guests still have all the space they need.

With a kitchen, dining area, two bedrooms and a large veranda, your guests can come back after a day filled with adventures and just relax. The vertical windows at the front and the side of the Comet let light flood into the kitchen and living area and will make the most of your surroundings. A mesh window is situated at the front to guarantee optimal ventilation.

We use the best materials including fire retardant canvas. The roof comes in a range of colours – brown, beige, green and grey – so that you can choose the look that best suits your site, and the Comet is built on concrete tiles instead of a foundation with wooden poles.

W o o d y S A F A R I t e n t Stylish and flexible

Our Woody Safari Tent is our most popular model and is based on a classic African safari tent with a robust wooden frame and canvas walls. And, while we can’t promise your guests herds of Wildebeest or the occasional passing lion, we can promise they’ll get a good night’s sleep in a proper bed.

It is available in a range of sizes for groups of up to six people in multiple layouts. And, because it doesn’t have guy ropes, there’s more room around the outside of the tent – and nothing to trip over in the dark.

Because our production facility is flexible, we aren’t limited to standard sizes so we can create the perfect safari tent for your needs. Each can be expanded modularly, so if you run a holiday site, the Safari Tent Woody can be used for group accommodation or is perfect for use as a restaurant tent – just get in touch and tell us what you need, and we can do the rest.

Camping, for some people conjures up images of trudging to the shower block in the dark or heating up a can of beans over an open fire, our Luxury Lodge will make them think again. It has all the comforts of home and comes with its own kitchen and bathroom, or two. Welcome to glamping.

Its simple design belies the luxury within, with room for proper beds in separated bedrooms, and a stylish, well equipped kitchen and dining area. A spacious veranda, where your guests can enjoy the great outdoors, a quiet moment with a book or a coffee, completes the look. It’s perfect for a family holiday, or a break away with friends.

Our Luxury Lodge comes in two sizes and can be laid out in multiple ways making it flexible and versatile for groups of four to eight people.

Running a festival or an outdoor event? We know that they are not always glamorous – rain, mud and wind can dampen the spirits of even the most enthusiastic guest, which is why, whatever the weather, our Woody Junior is ideal.

It’s sturdy, with a wooden frame so there’s no tripping over guy ropes when your guests wonder back in the dark, and it’s cozy too – keeping the bad weather out and the good vibes in. And, if the sun does shine, it has a wooden veranda where your guests can relax, drink in hand, and soak up the atmosphere.

The Woody Junior is versatile – it’s the tent for people who don’t normally “do” camping, but also for those that do. It’s perfect for a romantic break but also makes an excellent choice for hikers who need a practical but comfortable base And if you need extra accommodation for large groups, it can be used in combination with one of our other bigger tents, such as the Safari Woody.

Remember those circular tents in children’s story books about adventurers and explorers living in the wilds? Our classic Bell Tent in khaki canvas brings those childhood tales to life for your customers – but with a little more style and comfort.

Whether your guests are a family taking the kids away for their first night under the stars, or veteran campers with years of experience, our Bell Tent is ideal. There’s room enough for six people and, with a height of three meters at its center, it’s light, airy and comfortable enough for even the tallest of people.

It’s flexible too; with the option of a detachable groundsheet, the sides can be rolled up to create an open air, covered lounging space for hot summer evenings, bringing the outdoors, in. It’s perfect for festivals or for getting out into nature and, if you have a permanent camp site, you can add a wooden veranda, creating additional space.

And with space for proper beds, your guests will be sure of a good night’s sleep after a day of adventuring of their own.

T e c h n i q u e

The inner tentWe most commonly use the poly-cotton canvas KA-46 from TenCate Outdoor which has a weight of 420 gr/m2 and is supplied in a Khaki color. The canvas complies with the most stringent European standards (ECHAREACH) concerning the use of hazardous substances for the treatment of, for instance, its mildew / and rot resistant properties. Beside the KA-46 canvas, YALA also uses the innovative Campshield canvas, an innovative fabric with inherent flame r etardant p roperties. T his C ampshield complies with both European and American demands for fire retardancy (M2, B1 and CPAI-84).

The wooden frame The tent frame is constructed of sturdy round wooden beams and has a diameter of 80 mm or 100 mm. The connectors are made from fully galvanized steel and are connected to the floor base and into the ground. The wooden beams are preserved via a vacuum pressured method and therefor suitable for the European weather conditions.

The windows Each window section is built up in three layers. The first layer is a transparent and weatherproof PVC, the second is a durable netting to prevent insects from entering and the third is a canvas blind. The roll-able PVC windows are equipped with weatherproof Velcro to ensure a tight fit to the tent to keep out the weather.
